Hillsborough is a pretty and historical large Georgian village in County Down, Northern Ireland, situated 19 km (12 miles) from the city of Belfast. Hillsborough lies within the Lisburn City council area and is two miles from Sprucefield. Formerly a market village, the land to the north of the village was developed in the mid 1990’s into housing, adding Hillsborough to the commuter belt of Belfast. In recent years townhouses and apartments have been built closer to the centre of the village, including in the former civic building of Lisburn Borough Council.

Follow the signs for Belfast International Airport, when approaching the Airport follow the signs for Moira, join the M1 Motorway at Moira heading towards Belfast, leave the M1 at the Lisburn/Sprucefield exit, follow signs for A1 (Newry/Dublin), take the left lane at the Hillsborough roundabout, towards Hillsborough Village, take the first road on the left, drive past the entrance to Carnreagh Road, follow the road a short distance and you will see a B&B sign at the buttom of our lane (Dunhill Farm).
